Linked account on The Show website; lost game progress

I just wish they’d provide clear instructions on the linking and unlinking. I can currently unlink my Xbox from everything. I’m wondering if that will truly restore my preorder content.
But then if I do, I’m afraid I’ll lose all my current progress and so I’m just holding off on linking/unlinking anything.

My account still hasn’t been restored. I get an error when I login to my Xbox and psn accounts and it won’t let me login to my show account. In game it just says link account like it’s not linked.

So I just logged into my psn account on theshow. Com and ALL OF MY STUFF IS BACK

Support finally got back with me. The guy said he passed it along and they were investigating the issue. Then today on my way home from work I logged into my PSN account on the show website and all of my stuff was there. Fired up the game when i got home and now I’m playing with my team again.

Not sure what to do right now. I get the error every time I try to link my old account on the show my account page. But it gives the reset all progress button that I haven’t pressed yet. Any ideas?
I’m working with Sony to get a refund. I’ve had enough. Just going to get my money back and be done with it.
I’m about to call too and see if they can refund me my $200 dollars and I’ll just never link the Xbox account to the website again
That’s what I’m thinking about doing. Just starting over with the game pass version on Xbox. Not sure tho, honestly. I have a really really bad taste in my mouth after all of this.
I foolishly bought the physical edition for the steel case. Dumb on my part, because I’m kinda stuck with it. Couldn’t return it.
LOL so I finally just got ahold of someone with Sony on the phone about a refund for the game and in-game purchases and he told me that SDS are the ones that control the refund process for this title so I have to wait for a response back from their terrible customer support so only God knows how long that will be. Their system at Sony wouldn’t allow him to refund any part of the game. At this point it literally feels like they stole my money.
Hopefully they fix yours. I’m really pulling for it to happen. You may get it fixed before a refund, ha
I am extremely upset about this [censored] and I let everyone know it on their tweet about the servers last night. 9 tickets sent in and not a single one answered, Sony can’t give me a refund and now it is day 5 since I’ve been able to play.
Yeah, I kinda wonder if they’re not watching this thread. I posted on the maintenance thread in General and tagged Victor SDS and about an hour later my account was magically linked. All accounts were in the MLBTS account, I unlinked both of them, and then started up the game on PS. Immediately loaded content. Worth trying there. Good luck dude, I hope one of the paths works out. I was nearing your level of frustration yesterday.
I finally got my content back! Thank you for putting my name out there on this forum. I’m now afraid to try and link my accounts again tho lol

Has anyone tried to relink their accounts after their account was restored. Im afraid to try after having to wait over a week to get my progress back.

I’m still waiting for my content to be restored. They linked my account to a mlb the show account. I don’t even know if I know the login. When I login to my show account it doesn’t show my PSN or Xbox. But when I login to my Xbox or PSN it shows I’m link to a MLB the show account. No idea what’s going on.

Hey guys here's what i did. I'm currently playing on XBOX but i wanted to link a PS account because of an exp glitch i saw on YT. So i made one and when i linked it to my MLB account i logged to my XBOX to play. All was gone. My stubs, all my progression, it was like i had just logged in for the first time. I thought that the MLB account read the progression of the latest platform i linked. So what i did was this. I unlinked the account i had all my progress and the other account (the ps one) and i linked the empty account FIRST. Then i linked my real account, my xbox one. Tada! My progress was back and i had linked both console accounts.
I don't know if that would be helpful but i just wanted to share it with you. Have fun! -
Been playing on Xbox since day one.
Then I link my PlayStation account just in case they did any PlayStation events. And after doing that I lost everything 100K+ stubs and most of my diamond dynasty team was parallel 2
And looks at my last stats my ‘21 stats were completely wiped on this website -

Wtf not real comical [censored] I've lost a bunch of trash and it was due to the server cutting me completely out if the game there has yo be a way anyone got a responses back from ign or mlb I left tickets on Twitter, the website everywhere

Helllo? SDS? Do you guys even care about this? This is legitimate robbery. I purchased the pre order edition for 100 dollars, and I also purchased an additional stub package. All my pre order rewards, all my progress up to date, all my stubs are completely gone from my account. You took my money and ran and haven't responded to me here, or any single ticket I've created through email. Not one single time have I heard from you and this was over a month ago.

I had my account linked and the roster update from Friday 5/28 apparently messed something up so now my game crashes every time it tries to connect to the servers and the only way I can play is if I let the game go to demo mode, then exit demo mode and play offline. SDS can you please help with this?

Old feed i know but after you unlink it. Restart everything and it will work.

If you unlink, your progress will return.that’s the thing i don’t know how to unlink that account

I just freaking get logged out and asked to log in again but still shows linked every time. So much wasted time...... Feel as though I just got EA'd like I do in Madden every freaking year. I know the frustration that comes from dealing with customer service and can only muster a line from one George McFly, "I just can't handle that kind of rejection right now Marty!"
