Not sure what to do right now. I get the error every time I try to link my old account on the show my account page. But it gives the reset all progress button that I haven’t pressed yet. Any ideas?
I’m working with Sony to get a refund. I’ve had enough. Just going to get my money back and be done with it.
I’m about to call too and see if they can refund me my $200 dollars and I’ll just never link the Xbox account to the website again

That’s what I’m thinking about doing. Just starting over with the game pass version on Xbox. Not sure tho, honestly. I have a really really bad taste in my mouth after all of this.

I foolishly bought the physical edition for the steel case. Dumb on my part, because I’m kinda stuck with it. Couldn’t return it.

So I saw the update in the General Discussion and checked my MLBTS account. It shows everything linked. But everything in game is still wiped. Anyone else have any luck?

I’m glad I didn’t do that. After this experience idk if I’ll ever buy another physical copy of a game again. PSN made me restore licenses and reinstall the game to see if my content came back. While I am at work for another hour I already know when I get home and turn that console on my content will not be there and I told the lady that. I do understand tho that they have a protocol they’ve got to follow and I’m sure I’m not the first one to reach out for a refund.

I wonder if I should just unlink my Xbox account and see if that restores my PS content. I may just watch the threads for a bit longer before trying. I was so hopeful when seeing the latest update and seeing everything linked. Then another punch to the gut when loading the game

I cannot tell you in words how freaking mad I was before leaving the house. I have since calmed down a bit but I’m still upset. As a software guy myself I cannot understand how a developer with years of experience could mess something up this bad regardless of adding another platform to the game or not.

As a software guy myself I cannot understand how a developer with years of experience could mess something up this bad regardless of adding another platform to the game or not.
I think its the lack of response on tickets, the general infrequent updates or their plan of action that have frustrated me the most. Like I’ve been playing Outriders, that was a rough launch, but at least they were very vocal and active on Twitter/Reddit so that we at least knew we were being addressed. I’m sure they’re looking into this stuff, but it’s tough when you feel invisible. Especially when people have reached out to the media, streamers, etc. and we’re being ignored or told ‘not my problem’. The gameplay was actually great this year, I was LOVING playing. So excited that I wanted to link my PS5 and XSX progression. What a mistake that was, ha.

Exactly, my feelings. What a huge fricken mistake for me to link my Xbox account also. I should have just left well enough alone. Instead, we all missed days of playing on our real accounts and progressing. I was close to getting the first inning boss and I would have had it this weekend if I could have played on my account. I had over 100,000 stubs plus at least 500,000 stubs in cards including all my preorders. PLEASE SDS, DELETE MY XBOX PROFILE FROM MY ACCOUNT!!!!

Well I unlinked both from my MLBTS account. My MLBTS account now shows ALL of my progress. Unfortunately I can’t try to reconnect my PlayStation account since PSN is down. At least it’s slow but steady progress. Hopefully you have a bit of luck.

After my last temper tantrum when nobody would answer me, I deleted the game from my PS5. Once I saw they addressed the issue and made an update early this morning, I reinstalled the game. After it's completely installed, you're prompted with the difficulty levels, etc. You're also given a screen that says the server data is different from your local file data. I selected server data and everything showed up again.
Of course, this was after I saw that logging in to the show website with my PSN info now showed all my stubs and stuff (before it was wiped away). So, now everything is there for my PSN account, The Show account and nothing on XBOX. I'm assuming if I link the XBOX account it'll bring everything in there, but I'm in no rush to do that.

Do not bother with the Xbox account. It will default that one as primary and disable psn. They have not figured out how to just actually merge all progress to the MLBTS account yet. I’ve figured what the issue is now. Hopefully the can fix it.

Thank you for the update sir, just got my kids home from school and dinner, I'm nervous/excited to fire up my PS5. I just want it all back on my PS5, I could care less about it showing up on my Xbox X, I paid for the game on PS5, I want it to work there.

Nope. I clicked the other option. If they don’t get back with me I’m getting my money back. Depending on how I feel when PSN comes back online I might just get the freaking refund anyway.
