My PS5, Xbox series X, and here are all linked and I have all my stuff and progress back.
How lol. My main version is my ps5 JR edition but when I linked my Xbox game pass version I had no clue that became the default profile. My dumb self purchased $200 in Stubbs before checking to make sure my existing content was there. And here lies my issue. I made the purchase on my ps5 thinking I was adding to my existing cards from the preorder and JR edition game and unknowingly I was using the Xbox profile which had NOTHING. Now I have most of my progress and cards attached to my Xbox profile but can only use my psn profile if I unlink the accounts. I want all my purchased content to be linked to my psn. @Victor_SDS_PSN
I'm not sure, but I would unlink everything, then start the PS5 and choose the server profile assuming you get prompted. Then start the Xbox, login here to you mlbts profile and input the link code from the xbox in here.
Just did that. This time I said hmm if it auto defaults to whichever profile linked last let my link Xbox first then ps5 lol. Nope it still auto defaulted to Xbox as main profile and disables psn content. So my content is still very much accessible if I unlink everything but then it creates the issue of my $200 investment that I didn’t know I made on the Xbox profile through my ps5. While all my ps5 progress which is my preorder content from the $100 version of the game is still there from opening night. I can’t even merge the two together it seems. Linking only combines the Stubbs but not the cards. there has to be a way to combine everything and have true universal progress. @Victor_SDS_PSN
They did state pre-launch that cross platform progression excluded stubs. They never said anything about pre-order rewards/cards.
Did you proof read your comment and my post bro? Link both profiles only combines stubs. Any cards gained on both is disabled. It auto defaults Xbox profile as primary regardless if you have both. So my Preorder and Jackie Robinson content still there disabled and only usable if I unlink everything and keep it separate. Or I can just say eff my psn profile content and link both back up to keep the $200 worth of cards I purchased through my ps5 game but on the Xbox defaulted profile unknowingly
Don’t be an [censored]. We’re all without our progress. And yes I did. The fact that your purchased stubs are combined makes no sense and the fact that cards aren’t. I think it points to how poorly their system is implemented. Take a freakin’ chill pill. At least you have your in-game progress. Many of us are back to square zero. Your issue is different. Clearly I spent the stubs I purchased to buy packs for cards and have since made progress with the Xbox profile that became my default after I linked it to the mlbts account thinking it was just linking it and not making it the main profile for all of my progress. I made the stubs purchase on my ps5 because I thought that was still linked to all of my pre order content for the Jackie Robinson edition of the game I own on ps5. Unknowingly it wasn’t. So I have over 580 cards attached to my Xbox profile which is the game pass version and 22,074 stubs earned from playing all week on my ps5 but linked to that profile. Meanwhile I have over 275 cards just from the Jackie Robinson version of the game. That I can only use if I unlink everything. I have 28k stubs there which combines to my Xbox 22k for over 50k combined stubs when linked together. I just want all my cards together finally. Is that too much to ask? @Victor_SDS_PSN
Listen, I get the frustration. Sorry I popped off at you. I haven’t had progress on XSX or PS5 since early last week when the GamesPass version went live. SDS needs to get their [censored] together and fix all of our accounts.

Exactly. Here’s what needs to happen. They need to make the MLBTS profile the main…..once you link your progress to that it needs to upload the content you own on linked profile to that. So when both ps5 and Xbox are linked all cards own get attached to the MLBTS profile. All stubs earned also get attached to the MLBTS profile. I do think or I at least hope that’s what they were meaning to do. As of now what happens is if you own both consoles it auto defaults to make the Xbox progression default if both are linked, PERIOD. Instead of just merging all content to the MLBTS profile it disables cards and progress gained from the non default console profile. There has to be a way this can all be combined properly. I’d like my Xbox inventory of cards to be combined with my ps5 Jackie Robison edition content @Victor_SDS_PSN

Well guys I’m giving up. I’m working with PS to get a refund on everything I bought in game as well as the game itself. After all of my content just disappeared I’ve had enough

Once I get my money back I’ll be happy. Maybe down the road I’ll buy the game again but I’m not sure.

Not sure what to do right now. I get the error every time I try to link my old account on the show my account page. But it gives the reset all progress button that I haven’t pressed yet. Any ideas?

So I saw the update in the General Discussion and checked my MLBTS account. It shows everything linked. But everything in game is still wiped. Anyone else have any luck?

I’m glad I didn’t do that. After this experience idk if I’ll ever buy another physical copy of a game again. PSN made me restore licenses and reinstall the game to see if my content came back. While I am at work for another hour I already know when I get home and turn that console on my content will not be there and I told the lady that. I do understand tho that they have a protocol they’ve got to follow and I’m sure I’m not the first one to reach out for a refund.

I wonder if I should just unlink my Xbox account and see if that restores my PS content. I may just watch the threads for a bit longer before trying. I was so hopeful when seeing the latest update and seeing everything linked. Then another punch to the gut when loading the game

I cannot tell you in words how freaking mad I was before leaving the house. I have since calmed down a bit but I’m still upset. As a software guy myself I cannot understand how a developer with years of experience could mess something up this bad regardless of adding another platform to the game or not.

Instead, we all missed days of playing on our real accounts and progressing. I was close to getting the first inning boss and I would have had it this weekend if I could have played on my account. I had over 100,000 stubs plus at least 500,000 stubs in cards including all my preorders. PLEASE SDS, DELETE MY XBOX PROFILE FROM MY ACCOUNT!!!!
