I understand that these problems and more occur for the launch of a new game, but what I do not understand, worries and annoys me is that on the part of sds they are not giving us the due follow-up, with information even if they are lies but that they show interest Today is 2 days ago that they did not even post anything on their social networks, absolutely no communication, either for better or for worse ...

I have already talked to a lawyer about starting a class action lawsuit against SDS due to fradulent advertising of the cross-progression feature leading to thousands of lost accounts. Keep flooding SDS support with e-mails daily. They answer about 1 in 10 tickets that are sent. Fire Ramon

Having same issue, I linked my PS5 account to Show account and lost everything. I cannot unlink from the website or in game this is [censored], spent like a week on these [censored] servers grinding and there's still no fix. PLEASE SOMEONE FROM SDS EMAIL ME AND HELP ME

Downloading and using the PS4 version worked for me without any additional config. Just had to choose the local copy when prompted about save conflict (in-game)

We shouldn’t have to find work arounds, we shouldn’t have to install ps4 versions, we shouldn’t have to wait days to weeks for an answer. You as a consumer bought a product on the free market that was fraudulent and misrepresented. Get in on this class action lawsuit now!

I'm not sure what the OP did but what I did on my PS5 is hit start on the game from the PS5 dashboard (NOT PLAY) but the start button, then select the "version" it should show PS4 and PS5 MLB21. When I select PS4 version all my DD and pre-order items are there and I can play just fine. If I select the PS5 version of the game all of my data/collection etc is gone. When I go on my Xbox I don't have an option for the Xbox versions, I'm on Xbox X and it only shows MLB 21. So I can't play it on my Xbox and have it go towards my progress.

Thank you, I just tried that but it still didn't work. This is such a massive problem that shouldn't even be dealt with in the first place, Thanks again for your help!

here's my ?, I have NO clue how PS4 doesn't see PS5 each other, why is my original PS5 data showing perfectly on my PS4 version of the game?
Next ?, if I say F IT and start over on my PS5, will that conflict with my PS4 data? I mean yes I have a good chunk of stubs around 40K and a decent amount of cards in my collection and some pre-order cards, but IF I start over what's going to happen? I just lose my stuff and start from scratch?
I hear everyone upset about content and all, to be honest I JUST WANT TO PLAY, I don't however want to start playing and have it lose my data a second time.

Did you download the PS4 version on the PS5? I think I had to go the PSN store and download the PS4 version.
The covers look different if I'm not mistaken

I have both downloaded, I just had to make sure and select the PS4 version of the game from the dashboard.

Launching the PS4 version on the ps5 should work. The game does feel less smooth though

Same here. Tried doing the same and now my ps4 progress is gone. How do I get it back? Both say link but won't let me link account. Plus where do you enter the code given to you in game to link the accounts?

Victor provided an update about the unlinking stuff in general discussion thread. Lord willing this fix works.
I got pretty far into the game smh, but I’ll take my preorders. I enjoy the grind. Check out his post. Hopefully this fixes this.
And hopefully SDS can make up for the delay and frustration. I’m hopeful.
