Has anyone figured out how to use stubs to buy more budget space in franchise mode? As best I can tell, it can't be done. I have almost 100k stubs and I pretty much strictly play franchise so that was going to be how I used the stubs. Thanks

The ability to purchase Franchise Budget using stubs was removed this year due to the way the new budget system works. You could potentially use your stubs to purchase Sponsorship items, as that will still generate additional Franchise budget for your team when equipped. Additionally, you could turn on "Ignore Budgets" when starting your Franchise, which will ignore the team budget for all transactions.

thanks for the response. That makes sense. I felt like turning off budgets was kind of taking the easy way out where at least trading in packs and earning stubs through gameplay felt more like I was earning the additional budget space. Thanks for the response.

Do you still get stubs at the end of franchise mode games or do we have to buy stubs to get sponsorship? I thought we got a few stubs at the end of every game last year but this year it just says "no reward" at the end of games???

Also sponsors only show up in the ticker during home games,

From what I've played so far stubs are only earned if you don't touch the difficulty sliders in any way and leave them on their "Default Settings." Otherwise no you don't.
But if buying new budget funds with stubs is not a part of this year then that even further limits what stubs are even useful for, so that's a bummer...

With trade logic for prospects so broken there's no need to get a bigger budget. You can trade three scrubs for Wander Franco, Jasson Dominguez, etc.

Not a fan of the answer, but glad to have one. Bring the ability to add to franchise budget next year.
