Sure hope we don’t see Rookie difficulties in CS or WS
-
All I keep seeing is how 21 is going to be all about making it comfortable for everyone...Being able to select how easy you want the game to be in all modes...Well that’s fine but I really hope they keep ranked seasons the same difficulties. I just don’t want people selecting rookie when they’re at 894 and that being allowed.

But that was last year...This year they’re pushing this whole find your comfort zone thing. Hopefully it doesn’t change, I just worry.

No offense, but you must be a new player.
Ranked Seasons will ALWAYS be All- Star or higher.
Them mentioning the ability to tailor the difficulty to your liking is going to mainly be for offline modes.
Even if they do it for H2H modes; they would have to have two seperate Ranked Seasons; which I doubt they'll ever implement.

Wasn't the first level on vet? Then you went to all star? There is no way they are making world series on rookie, lol. Ranked seasons hasn't really changed much over the years I dont think so I highly doubt it will this year either.
They are talking about making the game easier for new players allowing them to choose their playstyle and the game will help them learn. Nothing to do with competitive play at all

I’n not new, I just switched from PS4 to Xbox Series X a few months ago. I’ve played The Show since 15. I understand what you’re saying & how it has been to this point. All I’m saying is I hope this warm & fuzzy talk doesn’t change the competitive modes, That’s all.

My bad for assuming.
We'll probably know more with the DD stream; but I'm pretty sure that it will be set up like they have when you start up Madden.
You can select Arcade, Simulation, and Competitive there. When you highlight one if the option; it informs you what the gameplay would be like in that mode. If you select Competitive, it tells you that is follows H2H settings.

They specifically said competitive is the default mode for H2H, they aren't letting you choose rookie in CS.
