With all the hype about being able to bring in your RTTS player into DD, Is SDS doing away with CAPs?

I think SDS is doing the 2k thing. Say goodbye to sliders in RTTS.

That will still be your CAP. Doesnt matter that they changed it up. They are just changing the ways you can upgrade them and build them. They are the foundation of DD, so they will probably always be around.

SDS is probably going to monetize RTTS at some point like 2k is doing with their NBA 2k series. You want to create a power hitter build with a canon arm day one to complete in DD. No problem just pay SDS and you have your player upgraded to a 85 overall. You want to reach 99 overall : grind in modes like RTTS and DD.

Welcome to MLB the Show 16, where you could use stubs to buy points to upgrade your rtts player.

I highly doubt that SDS is going to do this at all. Over the years with this game, they have made it easier and easier to NOT spend money and compete. Each year it gets easier and easier. I doubt that is how they change it

I get that grinding is a way to get the rewards we want without having to spend, but some users will still spend (just like pre-18). I don’t know what to think so I’m going with the scepticism on this one. I hope it doesn’t compromise the gameplay in the mode (somebody mentioned bye-bye sliders) but the fact that it is now tied to the rewards-driven DD is not a good sign for the future of RTTS. MTO shows signs of DDness, here’s hoping RTTS doesn’t suffer the same fate.

non-DD faithful: that was never part of the deal nor was compromising RTTS with that DD-tainted gameplay!

Sony: I have altered the deal, pray I don’t alter it any further.

Or something like that, haven’t watched the movie in a while.
