Hitting Homeruns in Missions/DD Help?

For you bombers out there. How do you guys consistently hit homeruns for the showdown/online?

I’m more of a contact guy but I feel like people hit homers by guessing wildly and maybe hitting the power button? Or hitting the top of your pci? Am I missing anything?

Knowing what part(s)of the zone you hit best, knowing what pitches to swing at, which pitches not to(more important), and getting good pci placement
