Why are we being charged an entry fee for showdown
-
This feels rigged like moments at launch in 2019. This is “rookie” yet it’s a line out fest and it’s over. 500 stubs a pop to retry. I’m already on my 5th or 6th try, by the end I could easily see 10-15 tries. That’s 5000-7500 stubs. Ridiculous. This should be free to enter because there are no real rewards locked behind this new mode. I want to enjoy this mode but it’s frustrating as hell

I understand what you are saying but it’s not really hard once you figure out the strategy to it. If you feel like you can’t finish it, than don’t worry about it. Moments will come out biweekly so you will make up those 75 stars quickly.

My guess is because it’s repeatable and can be applied to team Affinity repeatably.

I think it’s a reasonable cost. You get your stubs back pretty quick if you get through the first showdown challenge.

Why should it cost anything? We already bought the game. It's a game mode. If they charge for something we should be guaranteed a reward of equal value, not the CHANCE of getting our money back. "We know you bought the game, but we are going to charge you to play it" is BS. They should not be charging even 1 stub to play any of the game without compensation guaranteed.

All you have to do is complete the first showdown and you get your stubs back and a show pack. If you complete the whole thing, you get a total of 2 show packs and 4200 stubs. While I’d like to see 1 redo per run, the rewards are quite decent for the cost of entry (this is for the repeatable division showdowns).
