For the most part, I’m an average online hitter even on All-Star difficulty where I’m mainly playing. But I would actually like to see next years game have harder difficulty hitting online. For me ranked seasons is a pain because all star difficulty is flooded with unbelievable hitters who crush me every time. I would much rather take an even further dent into my hitting if my opponent also struggled more to hit. Now I don’t mean every game is 3-2. But getting away from constant 12-6 finishes and more to the real baseball side where games end variably from 2-1, 5-3, 6-2, 7-4 and the occasional double digit run games. I would much rather be better at pitching and sacrifice a little more at the plate and implement a little more strategy into when to deploy a pinch runner or bring in an arm from the bullpen than give up homer after homer after homer because anywhere my pitch goes it gets crushed. Maybe have an option to play on hall of fame or legend all the time? I’m not sure, but I think all-star is way too easy to hit on and way too hard to pitch against. Now obviously it can’t be removed or a lot of players who do enjoy crushing on all-star would leave because they struggled too much with the harder difficulties, but I see giving the option to play on harder difficulties, while still earning the points for ranked seasons would be better for me. I won’t sniff the harder difficulties if I never get past all-star very often. Just my take, doesn’t need to be wholesale changes to the hitting/pitching engine, just I feel like it’s better balanced when hitting on higher difficulties since the PCI is much smaller and you have to be more precise and on time to connect with a pitch.

I would bet if SDS would make hitting on all-star harder, lot of players would be gone very soon me including.
Pitching would be better if you make perfect timing with your pitch, it should go on exact spot you targeted, that way would be good players in pitching rewarded enough I think
