What’s your hitting view camera angle
stike zone 2... also have starfighter and circles for my pci
Switch between strike zone 1, 2 and high during the game. Making camera ajustements depending of the pitcher is crucial. At least for me it is.
ok thank you... any tips on how to not drop my pci?
-
If you’re always dropping, I’d recommend setting your pci just below the top of the strike zone and don’t snap it when the pitch is almost there. Try to move it gradually with the ball cuz if you can keep from flicking it, you should be able to get pieces of it and foul off more pitches and also square up more cuz ya rarely get a good hit if the pitch is out of the zone. Also, practice on legend and repeat play with an 0-2 count. Usually the pitcher is going to throw you a tough pitch or a ball in the dirt and it should help you start to notice those pitches and layoff them. Also, repeat play a 3-0 count and only swing at meatballs down the middle, trying to layoff anything on the corners. Hope this helps you out. It seemed to help me.

Play a lot of cotw. Allows you to get a ton of reps in, which helps plate discipline and pci placement
-
Also, do u have control freaks? Those help out a ton with pci placement.

It’s an extension to the analog sticks basically. Allows me to have a lot more control over the pci. Most top players use em. They’re generally around $15

thanks ill defiantly try that out and ya i do have a tendency to flick so maybe that will help

If his problem is moving the pci down, he doesn’t have great control over the pci. Making the pci even more sensitive is probably only going to increase his problems, not help them.

Control freaks allow you to more accurately place the pci wdym lol. I had problems dropping my pci before using them. That’s their purpose.

Actually, from their website it says their purpose is to help make smaller, more precise in game movements. Good players use them because they have excellent pci control and benefit from even more precise input. OP has said he isn’t a very good player, so I would assume it’s safe to say he has poor pci placement and control and would not benefit from the increased sensitivity. By all means, go ahead and try them out, if they help, awesome. But from what I’m gathering it’s only going to throw fuel on his fire.

“Help make smaller, more precise in game movements” ... exactly what’s needed for good pci placement. It’s hard to not flick the pci without control freaks. With control freaks, it’s easier to get more precise placement, despite skill.

It doesn’t matter what you do. Pci placement and swing time mean nothing. Rng decides if you get a hit
Bull S H I T!!! If that were true than everyone would have the same stats. Such a dumb comment!!!

Have you tried without a pci? Some players are better that way and just hitting pitches down the middle. This doesn’t work well above all star though.

If you actually believe this, you’re just bad. The game is too random, which is frustrating, but having the best pci placement and timing possible gives you the best chance of getting hits.

Highly recommended focusing on the pitchers release point as well. I generally sit fastball and react to offspeed
When it comes to dropping your PCI, I think almost everyone has that issue...myself included at times lol. Try to focus on having your PCI still at pitch release and react from there. Relax, anticipate and react
Also, batting practice on HOF or Legend will help as well

I’m glad that has been your experience and they helped you. It’s more precise because it takes less movement. OP has stated he flicks it too much so he struggles with precision. Making it more sensitive would be the opposite of helping him. Can’t hurt to try them out tho.

Actually those kontrol freaks don’t make it more sensitive, in actuality it makes the pci less sensitive and more smooth. It simple physics. The further away from the base you get the more pressure is needed to make a movement. So if you raise the analog stick the more pressure you’ll need to move the stick. Hence they will help a person who has a problem over correcting (dropping pci) .

I don’t know what ‘simple physics’ you’re referring to, but if you’re under the impression that the further away from a base you are, then more pressure is needed to make movement, then you need a refresher. See...any torque wrench or any other object designed to reduce work by extending an object away from its base.

You’re absolutely correct. The cheater bar is another example. But you are actually applying more force by doing that that’s why the adjustment is smoother. The force however is be applied at the base of the object. That is what I mean by applying more force.
