If a guy crushes one off me, or he simply beats me and hits one in a big spot, I will replay it. It’s a tip of the cap....

Any HR by Trevor Story, or any dong that looks bigger than 480ft ill watch

Is Story your favorite player? I can see the favorite player angle. I just played a guy who gave up the three hrs to Griffey and he watched every single one. Didn’t watch any of the other homers I hit, so I wonder if it was just to replay that beautiful swing and follow through

Speaking of tip of the caps, I’ll notice that when a guy really gets fooled on a pitch (which is happening less and less this days), he will tap the bunt button once. Is he collecting him self? Is this a timing mechanism? Or is he tipping his cap to me? I’m old, so I don’t get the subtle language and nuances the kids use in online play these days lol

Speaking of top of the caps, I’ll notice that when a guy really gets fooled on a pitch (which is happening less and less this days), he will tap the bunt button once. Is he collecting him self? I’m old too( 40s, so relative to most), but yes. The single bunt flash is a tip of the hat. Multiple , I.e. bunt dancing , is announcing “I am a giant douche”

I do it when the guy hits an absolute bomb, especially if it’s on a dotted pitch. I also just like to see how far they go sometimes.

Will he still be your favorite player when his contract runs out and he signs somewhere else? 😉

I am 39, so we are around the same age, but relative to probably most of the players on here, we are ancient. The next time a kid complains about bunting in this game, we will have to tell them of the bunt home runs on RBI Baseball and MLB Baseball on the NES!

Some HRs are just worth replaying. They fall into 2 categories for me:
1 - Absolute moon shots. If one goes near 500ft I am probably replaying
2 - How the ...... did he hit that. cutter up and away no where near the zone etc.
