Most Laughable Game Ever

I had the lead 8-1 going into bottom of 6th inning, cruising, and majority of his hits up until that point seemed like all bleeders and bloopers, hits from poor timing/contact, whatever.
Long story short...
....5 of his next 6 hits were all HR's, all HR's from forced pitches over the middle of the plate, every single one, no exaggeration. giving him total of 7 runs to tie. I almost dashboarded after the 7th inning when he got within 8-6, just because (but still had the lead, so how could I). But after back to back HR's in 8th, to tie, I couldn't handle, had to go. Somehow, Sony all of a sudden had me throwing BP like in HR Derby.
LMAO. That's awesome! -
What needs to happen is that sort of thing needs to be put on YouTube as a full unedited clip, complete with inputs shown and all. Set that capture time to last 60 mins and when it’s all done, simply save and edit down to the start of the game and upload.
If there’s video evidence out there, people will have no choice but to believe it instead of dismissing it. That way specific instances of dodgy gameplay can be pointed out and hopefully taken notice of by those with influence on the making of the game. Yes, words are therapeutic (I get the impression from your post that this isn’t a rant, more of a sharing of your disbelief), but your experience sounds like an opportunity to really expose the ridiculousness of what happens. Video speaks volumes!
Your experience is a reassurance that my preference for non-DD is the right choice for me.

Thought about it, but I think dashboarding killed any video saving opportunity (I think). Regardless, wanted to take a break and there's always game history that's accessible to the public, so, whatever. But yeah, hindsight, I wish I did video save it.

LMAO. That's awesome! This sounds exactly like my experience with ranked seasons over the past few weeks. Every game is a home run derby all of a sudden. Pitching inputs don’t seem to matter and the way to win seems to be to time up and swing wildly at every pitch until the game balls you out with a hanger. Take a look at the top players in ranked seasons. A lot have ERAs in the 6s and 7s. The game is horribly out of balance.

Yeah, I would never condone terminating anybody at SDS, especially in these unusual times, but I sure hope somebody gets it together over there or at least hires somebody competent enough to focus their attention on gameplay for future MLB series. Gameplay flaws seem to be the only thing consistent this year and year's past. One would think that as the years go by, the game would make progress in gameplay and not regress.
I know you guys couldn't agree more. It's ok, you don't have to say anything. I've done it for us. LMAO

don’t believe this for a second. Nice try though
-
It’s amazing how 90% of homers that happen to people on here are perfect releases that are forced over the plate........no one ever makes a mistake , throws/calls a bad pitch....... let me say a huge majority of homers I give up are my fault, I try to get clever and the opponent beats me......period.....
-
I’ve hardly ever had forced meatballs on anything remotely close to good input. I don’t know what you guys use as interface or what you do, but like @OreoRockstar said, when I miss, its because I did it wrong and felt it even before the pitch release.

That's hilarious!
Yeah, technically, if you lose, of course that means your opponent beats you. But what's funny is how you try to discredit pitch accuracy as not being a problem and trying to take the blame for something that is an issue by an overwhelming consensus per the Community. But hey, if you say a huge majority of homers you give up are your fault, I believe you. But don't try to attach that label to what my experience has been.

I usually stream on Twitch if I’m in party with my buddy so he can watch, which is all day most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, feel free to stop by and express your disbelief as these kinds of things genuinely will randomly occur every few games.

You don't have to believe me at all.
You don't have to believe any of the following either:

Its easy to post links to threads of people being pissed off. I wanna see video evidence of this stuff that hasn’t happened to me yet unless I severely missed my input.
Show me video and I’ll be much more inclined to believe you

Man, what I would give to be in your shoes and experience the same that you've been.
Wait, nevermind, that didn't sound right.

You've played more RS games in this year than I've played maybe last 3 years combined so I know you've seen some wacky sh it. How do you not lose your mind and just uninstall? Is it cause of content?

I just learn to deal with it as frustrating as it may get. Out of my control and not gonna stop playing the game regardless of how bad gameplay is. I already know the expectation level going into RS games, it's just some are more laughable than others, that's all.

I've got plenty, not just strictly on pitching. I've posted plenty. Any special requests? i.e., pitching, poor fielding, AI baserunning, inability to tag runners out on plays where they should've obviously been out, no sense or urgency lollygagging throws allowing opponent to score....just to name a few lol.

I’m not saying you’re wrong buddy. Just have seen plenty of these threads but nobody seems to post video evidence of their perfect inputs landing in the middle of the plate. That’s what I want to see cause I haven’t experienced it

It's easy to post links to threads of people being pissed off? Yeah, I guess it's just pure coincidence that vast majority of players who have never communicated with one another just happen to post threads related to the same topic sharing their experiences that happen to be quite similar or the same.
Regardless, I was just sharing mine, and no, you don't have to believe me at all. I can tell you this much. It's amazing how I NEVER EVER purposely throw a pitch over the middle of the plate, and yet the game makes me feel like I'm an expert at it. I always aim for the corners (only exception if I'm pitching to their pitcher and fall behind 3-0, as an example), and with good or perfect input on aim/rlease, it miraculously goes over the middle of the plate. But thank you for having this discussion with me, I'm done.

I'll get back to you when I have time and provide video. No problem.
In the meantime, you should take @ComebackLogic up on the offer of viewing his streams, since you're in such disbelief.
