How to get Diamond Dynasty lineup in practice mode
-
Hello! I hope you're all doing well. I have a question about Diamond Dynasty and Practice Mode.
I think it could have something to do with selecting a certain roster option at a certain screen, but how do I get my Diamond Dynasty players active to use in batting practice? I've read on this forum that it is possible, and I'm looking for some instructions on how to do it.
I'd love to be able to practice my Diamond Dynasty team against high velocity pitchers on teams I could select to face.
Take care!

I would like this as well.
I did it sort of. I stacked my Mets with some of the legends that are available, then stacked the Yankees with a lot of the tougher pitchers and legends to face their stuff on HOF. Especially Mike Scott. Still can't hit him, lol. -
I would like to know this as well if it’s possible

There’s not really a way, but there is a workaround. You can edit rosters and add players from your DD team to any MLB team through roster control. They won’t have the same attributes most likely, but the stances and swings will be the exact same. And you can edit attributes if you wish but they won’t go past 99.

I don’t know of any way you can do this, but one workaround would be to put the guys you want to practice top 5 in your lineup and do the first inning of some of the Babe Ruth challenges. Soon as you record 3 outs, just restart

My way of “ practicing” has always been playing conquest on Legend with the guys I like playing with. Tells me mostly what I need to know about a card before going online with him, plus a lot about how the A.I works as well. The rewards are just a bonus
Praying next year they find a way to add a more customizable practice mode though.

Thank you! I may have to experiment with roster control.

There’s no “way to do it” but you can move all the legend or current players on your DD team to one roster and adjust their attributes to what they are in DD. I’ve done it about 3 times this year once the lineup has gotten badly outdated.

Within the past hour, I've only figured out how to load a select group of legends and apparently all live series players to a team of my choice in roster control. I remembered a video that content creator, Movie Gaming TV made about 3 months ago on his YouTube channel, and I found it. The title of the video is: "Doing THIS One Drill Will Make You A Beast at Hitting MLB The Show." When I tried it, it only let me select from a relatively small list of legends under "Free Agents" in team scrolling, and I think any live series player is available, but my Diamond Dynasty team was not listed in the available teams to add players from.
Regardless, I still had fun taking batting practice against a hard-throwing, CPU-controlled, current LHP with a couple of players who are on my Diamond Dynasty team that I was able to select to the Giants as a saved practice roster, like Griffey Jr. and Reggie Jackson.
That video I mentioned by Movie Gaming TV explained a lot.
