Is he worth a shot for a theme team?
I gave no use for him on my main team as I have Cobb, Griffey (soon), Trout, Mantle, Walker, etc that can play in the outfield.
So I would buy him to play on a Red Sox theme team.
I mean I have 1.9M stubs and nothing left to buy; so why not? Right?

I have all the cards you mentioned and still start Ted in LF as he is my best hitter by far......

Ted’s a beast.

Who do I play/bench out of the following; if I buy Ted?
Mantle
Awards Trout
Cobb
Griffey -

There's no problem with your original plan though; he's my starting LF for my Sox team and he's my first bat off the bench for my main squad. Get the guys you want, otherwise what are we even doing?

Ted's hitting is absolutely worth it. His speed and defense are what makes him harder to fit into the overcrowded outfield options. I had him and sold after he kept turning singles into doubles in left.
