Breaking ball quirk

I have noticed that a few players such as Postseason Michael Brantley has the breaking ball quirk. Can somebody explain to me what that quirk does to a player attributes ? Does it increase contact or vision or both at the same time ?

In a perfect world maybe it would do something making the quirk relevant, like bonus exit velo against breaking balls perhaps? In the real/SDS world, it's just something to kill time scrolling down with. Purely meaningless & empty, like the many years old "advanced stats" tab on the cards.

I better pick a team with players having that quirk and I invite to a friendly match.

Breaking Ball quirk gives higher chance of Player hitting Perfect Perfect warning track shots or having a routine flyball bounce off your glove.
It's SDS's way of kicking you in the nuts.
