Card/Player Ratings Overhaul

I may be in the minority here but certainly there are other folks who feel like the player/card ratings system just needs a massive overhaul. These PS cards are out of control. There has got to be a way to still have content (even postseason content) without going overboard.
The 99 Arozarena is a better hitter than BABE RUTH?!?!?! He definitely had a spectacular postseason but a hot 6 week run shouldn't outdo the career of one of the greatest hitters of all time.
You got a 99 Gore who didn't even pitch in the majors this year?????
I guess I am old fashioned but I prefer a ratings system with a least a shred or integrity. Maybe it is because it is the current season we are in but I feel like MLB20 has been the worst in terms of how ridiculous lots of these cards are.

I'm fine with it, if they don't make these players insane at this point in the year. All you will ever see is "L, this card doesn't even make my team LOL"
Also, integrity is the wrong word to use here. This isnt' some "moral" issue.

Yeah it’s stupid alright. It really detracts from the fun in unlocking and using the real legends of the game in Diamond Dynasty for me. Collect the entire MLB for Mantle, Sheffield and Biggio - OR - use some minor leaguers who’ve never even played in the majors who are equally elite, if not better.

When I can create a player that has better overall stats than 75% of all real major league players that ever lived, I stop caring about no name prospects or rookies being better than Ruth.
It’s a video game. Next year we should have a stadium on the moon option that's the new Shippett.

I don't understand why people get so worked up over this. A lot of us have had the best cards all year, these are just fun OP cards for players who get the game much later to compete with. Imagine if they had to go into Ranked Seasons or Event games without some of these cards, they'd be facing "God Squads" and getting wrecked and quitting the game immediately.
