Two things I would like to see with MLB the Show 20

Ability to play the "All-Timers" teams in the "Vs CPU" mode. So you can play them and get TA innings at the same time.

An offline DD 6-inning vs cpu mode. We have "Vs CPU" for 9 innings and "Conquest" for three innings, but often I find that I would like an option for the middle of those two options.
I know this isn't going to happen, but still I would like to see it though!

I have no idea why they don’t have offline versions of things like RS and BR, where you try to rack up a streak against the CPU with increasing difficulty levels to earn rewards. Seems like such a simple thing to implement, yet it’s never been done. They’ve added moments and showdowns, RIB conquest etc. But it’s almost like SDS have an aversion to people wanting to play actual nine inning baseball games with rewards to incentivise success, be that offline or H2H.
In all the time I’ve been playing, they’ve never added or revamped a nine inning baseball mode, there’s only ever been RS for H2H and play now vs CPU. It’s a bit of a head scratcher and shows a lack of imagination in my opinion. Quite why mini games and retro mode and the like have been prioritised over DD modes that actually resemble the game of baseball, I’m unsure, but we need something that’s not cartoon arcade baseball played over three innings, with a PCI twenty times the size of the baseball and infinite home runs. All they’ve done is dumb down RS and make the only mode that slightly resembles real baseball play like BR. The best players in the game have ERA between 5.00 and 8.00. It’s absolute garbage really.

Someone on here had the great idea of implementing a DD March to October mode. I took his idea one step further to have a BR style team draft or (even better, IMO) a Showdown team draft where as you progress you can add cards to improve your team.

March to October plays like a series of moments bolted together though. It’s a nice idea to play a condensed season for offline players which focuses on the action and highlight sequences, but much like Showdown this year, it’s too heavily based around moments, which not many people seem to enjoy, myself included. Moments and MTO lack the spontaneity of an actual baseball game, throwing you into endless scripted scenarios that you may or may not complete successfully, but regardless, a lot of them just feel like they’re only designed to waste as much of your time as is humanly possible before you give up or randomly succeed by doing the exact same thing that caused you to fail for an hour previously.
