Gossage Price

I was thinking his price would drop too. Been holding out but maybe I just need to bite the bullet. I’ve been waiting for Honus, Foxx, Pujols and Gossage to all drop. I figured 175k for Honus and Foxx, 400k for Pujols and less than 300k for Goose. I don’t think they’ll ever get that low. Might have to just go for it. I have the stubs available, but I’ve given up on Chipper and Billy (and any other BR rewards, for that matter). Figured I’d settle on the others (which might be better cards anyway). I am still hopeful for a small drop in Foxx and Honus on Friday when the other program drops. They also added a couple online stat missions for 9th inning program points; hits and strikeouts with 2020 postseason cards.
I just bought Honus back (Sold him for 287K pre tax) for 213K.
I wanted to wait to see if he dropped more; but I don't see it happening unless they include this inning in an 'Extra Innings' inning like they did last year.
I also sold off my POTMs for Sept and still have 800K+.
Waiting to see what happens with Griffey and maybe Stage 4 if the TAs before I decide what I'm doing with that total.

Smart. I'm at 954,000 stubs I was hoping Gossage price would go down to 400-450K and get him, but now at 555K, I will just sit and wait.

The price is only going to go up. Lots of guys like me who earned him, have plenty of stubs, and won't be selling him.

He won't go down much because he's an end game bullpen arm and everyone will want him. I'm close to 50 wins and plan on keeping him.
-
The 6 inning event slowed his acquisition down. He will lower in price as people start to get enough wins over the next couple of weeks.

Doubt it he bottomed out around 400k and has just risen since

Nah, he won't. And even if his price stays stagnant for the rest of October, it will only shoot up once the event is over. Not worth not having him for the rest of the RS season in your bullpen just to try and save a few thousand.

Yeah I agree with this. I play alot and took me awhile to get to 50. Going to sell. Don't think the price is going to get any higher than right now, other than when the event is over. Can buy back cheaper later. Inevitabley there will be something that will come out that will give peeps reason to sell and who knows when a flash sale will come.

My prediction: this card will end up in the same scenario as Billy Wagner, with multiple 1m bids
give it some time...

Yeah, but not till after the event ends. Can use that 500k much more wisely and buy cards that i know will be at least doubling and can buy Goose back later.

SO worth the grind / stubs. Just threw him for 5 innings in RS (wild card level) and was dominant even at the end. Not only does he have great stuff but very high stamina for a relief pitcher as well.
-
How many wins do you need for him?
-
50 wins.
