Broken Promises

This game is full of them from the moment the game became playable.
If you might remember we were told we would be able to choose what kind of presentation we would get in terms of the scoreboard and overlays. Did we ever get selectable presentations? NO. It's remained locked and we've only seen other scoreboards and overlays in events or moments.
Next we were told the servers were going to be new and would be able to withstand the thousands of players that play MLB worldwide. Instead we've gotten countless server errors and support people who deflect the blame to the player's ISP instead of owning up to the fact that their servers are geared to the content creators and partners and not for the casual gamers.
Finally we were told the game would be available on other gaming consoles in 2021. If I were SDS I would concentrate on getting dedicated servers first before attempting to put their game out on another console.

Oh they have failed miserably, internet connections do have a lot to do with lag. But as to them showing creators and partners favoritism, they all deal with lag

Maybe but if you think about it everything that partners and CCs have asked for have pretty much happened this season.

You must not have watched the stream back in March when they announced the game would be coming to XBox and possibly PC.

They announced that MLB 21 could be coming with the nest gen consoles. We have literally no information on MLB 21 to this point

Hopefully we don’t get cross play with PC. Gonna be pretty unfair facing off with people potentially using a keyboard and mouse interface, not to mention the aimbots and other hacks.

I have been playing since day 1 and can count on 1 hand how many connections issue have had

you are wrong on all counts. presentation choice for franchise,rtts,play now etc, they stated that they created their own presentation package for DD and that it would be DDs exculsive presentation.
new servers were last year not this one.
as for cross platform, that was MLBs doing, im not sure that SDS made any announcements about it at all, MLB made announcements about it, and as of sept 30 2020 there has been no announcement of what systems it will be on,nor if you will be able to play ppl from other systems yet.
