Picture 1) an example of the CPU throwing too many balls. 30 of 61 pitches in this game are balls. Lately it feels like I’m starting every count 2-0. Just praying for some decent strikes to hit. If I’m in a moment, I have to swing at 2 bad pitches. usually just to not walk. Something is weird for showdowns and conquest and moments right now. It’s just mind numbing and doesn’t make me excited to play the show when I get off work.Picture 2) you’ll see I took a total of 17 good swings in this game rated 12 or higher on a scale to 15. 3 hits. All pp. Lately it feels like I’m not getting rewarded even close to what SDS claims and it’s frustrating hitting balls to the track and lining out all game long, as depicted by the 17 good swings in the photo. The first picture, whatever. It’s ridiculous they won’t throw strikes. But whatever, I could deal with that too. But this one is the one thing that gets extremely demoralizing. Makes me feel horrible at the game. Stressed out.. at a game.
So 1 absolutely ridiculous loss in conquest on AS. That’s not really a big deal, I could live with losing. But can someone tell me what I gotta do, input wise? 3 for 17 on good swings is inexcusable. This isn’t fun, it’s heartbreaking. I swear it’s like the A.I in this game is self aware and can read my mind

I apologize if this comes off as another complaint post. But this game would never change if we all just pretended it was rainbows and butterflies around here. I just want quality gameplay to along with this great content. And this isn’t it.

Yeah I don’t care about that as much. I understand it’d be too easy if they threw it down the middle each time. What do I do about the input though? 3 for 17 on good swings...

Take a break from playing bots all day and get killed by RNG online instead, take your pick.

I hate playing the vs CPU stuff and this type of thing is a factor. It doesn’t feel fun or realistic and it all becomes a chore before too long.

This game is not as successful this time of year because of gameplay issues like this. Not because people move on naturally. This game falls off a cliff, and it’s because nobody is going to play something and invest effort into a game that feels so random unless they’re absolute baseball die hards. and it’s better this year than before, in terms of sales, but I’ve also never seen so many people, whom I respect, be so frustrated with all aspects of gameplay. Online and offline. And again I’m sorry for complaining and beating a dead horse. I realize I’m kinda just blowing steam here. Trying to stay level headed about it.

Not trying to defend anything but PCI ratings mean squat if timing isn’t good. I feel like timing is so much more important than PCI placement in this year’s game

I hear ya. But 4PP in 6 innings(nothing great, but certainly better than average) and just look at the swings man, I know when I’m off and you’ll see a bunch of 10s, 11s, misses, etc. All but 3 of these read good/good on the feedback and they were 3 of the 12s and they were just early. 2 of the other 4 12s I was slightly under. A PP fly out with Zunino in extras in Yankee stadium. I could go on for a while. I’m not some crybaby who would just be upset about a loss and dramatize a story, like some people can get on here. And I’m not somebody who wants it easy. Far from it. None of my history would show that either. This stuff is just inexcusable.
