Cardinals Schedule IRL

I was looking at some of the remaining schedules and the cardinals play 5 games in the next four games. That puts them at only 58 games. Will they not play those games even if there’s playoff implications? So, if they’re 28-30 and the 8 team is 29-31, who gets in? Just curious. Thanks.

I need them to keep losing so Reds can move up to the 5th spot and defeat the Padres for my Dodgers. lol. No offense but Cards have no shot @ beating the Padres. Reds with Bauer and Gray can beat them in a 3 game series. Padres scare me and I don't want the facing the Dodgers in the next round. but I don't know about the 2 games they are missing. I read MLB won't be making games up because of Covid.

Cards fan here, If those games don't affect the playoffs they won't be played. If the cardinals are in or out regardless of those games being played they won't play them
