Just played my first RS game in a while. An 8-6 win where my opponent smacked 6 solo homers, I hit 4 and added a sac fly.
Thankfully my Fernando's homer was a 3-run ding dong.
SDS, your game is near perfect for a sports game, but next year can we PLEASE TONE DOWN the homers on All-Star. Good lord.
Bridge the gap between all star (I call it All-Star Arcade) and HOF which seems too hard IMO.
You have gained a lifer here with your content and transparency, but man, please get the game play onto a playable level, cuz it hasn't been all year.
Yes, I know it's brought up a lot, but I think we should post this every week until '21 so they SEE IT and FIX IT. #MakeContactHittersUseable
p.s. Can we add in a few unusuccessful 1B scoops? I don't think I've seen an error on a scoop in over 1,500 throws.

I wish 99 speed, 99 steal and 99 bunt were gone, I believe they need to put a cap to all 3 attributes.

Yeah here’s a solution, eliminate all star difficulty altogether in RS. HOF for all divisions until 700 and Legend for 701 and up.

The problem is that everyone is now running 80+ speed diamond defenders in the outfield, so unless you hit it over the wall, it’s pretty much an out. A lot more hits fell at the beginning of the year.

I think it needs to be hof until you hit 900. The game still has its issue on hof but not like in allstar. But the will never do it because allstar gives bad players a chance. Instead of getting better , they would cry until sds patched it to let them have a chance -
All star is trash. No way it should be the default setting for BR, events and most of RS play. It negates the nuances of the game, such as H/9, contact, K/9 and vision from having any tangible effect on PCI size, which doesn’t really give the right impression of the construct of the game. The fact that a 95mph pitch travels at “different” 95mphs at various difficulty settings is also ridiculous. I’m not saying we should have the same swing timing window for good contact on legend as we do on veteran, for example, but I’m pretty sure a baseball travelling at 95mph in a MLB game would travel at 95mph in a minor league game, or even a high school game, if the pitcher could muster sufficient velocity to get it up there. With the introduction of diamonds for reaching PR in RS, the AS difficulty should also stop there, in my opinion.
That way, semi-competent players would never have to revert to all star games. BR and events should be on HOF. -
It is frustrating when 60+% of the hits in this game are home runs.

Exactly! Seems like it should be a simple fix when they should see the % of runs as a result of homers.

There are to many guys with 99 speed/steal. There should be only one player with 99/99. We all know who that is. Anyone else should be a point less at the least.
