Never was a great hitter by any means, but something has happened the last few days.
I was struggling bad and couldn't hit anything. Was very frustrated even after my monitor purchase, and was pissed that I felt like it was wasted money.
So I went and switched my hitting view to zoom, and that was going great. I figured that was the change I needed. Not so much, I got worse, so I went back to strike zone, and BAM,I can't miss.
Knocked out 4 showdowns in a row, starting to kill the ball in RS. Just seeing the ball so much better.
Not sure what it was, but it is nice to be playing better and have confidence.

Awesome man, it does feel good to finally break out of slumps you find yourself in

Sometimes, changing a hitting view or taking a couple days off can help reset you and can get you back on track.

I'm in a massive slump myself. I'm struggling with missions on rookie. I'm not a great hitter either, but this is just god awful.

It’s likely you got too comfortable with things...at least speaking for myself, I think I’ve realized this is what happens to me. I’ll find settings I like, have success, but then I get comfortable which means I get lazy and start to develop bad habits.

As you mentioned, what usually works for me is switching something, anything that forces me to change perspective and to focus once again. This usually leads to finding new settings that work, or going back to the previous set up and once again having a fresh perspective.

Unfortunately I haven’t taken this advice enough myself this year, as it usually does help me get out of slumps.
