Problems with James Paxton

I’m using the Monthly James Paxton on my DD team and I have not pitched him in over two weeks and his energy does not go up at all. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same problem and what you may have done to fix it. Any help would be great appreciated.

Energy doesn't restore if theyre not in your rotation. It also doesnt restore passively, its per game basis that they don't pitch in.
If neither of those statements answers your question idk what youre asking.

He is in my rotation actually my number 1 and I have played several games in ranked season and he still has not gained back his energy where some of my other pitchers that I have used gain the energy back but James Paxton always in the yellow and never gains back any energy. I haven’t pitched him because he always is in the yellow
