I'd really like it if SDS could just explain the process/guidelines they use to rate cards. I won't get into how ridiculous the Future Stars are but let's take Ty Cobb for example.

He is the best hitter in the history of the game (in terms of average) yet he doesn't have max vision??? How does that even make sense? There are plenty of other examples but I'd just like an explanation to the madness.

Yep and why do they rate Ty Cobb 90 power, a guy that did never hit more than 12 HR in a season.

4th all time in doubles, 2nd all time in triples, 23rd all time in OPS, 10th all time in OPS+. Hes got as much power as you can get for a dead ball era player. He shouldn’t be unusable in this game for playing at a time before homeruns were big

Did not know that. Is there somewhere that SDS has all this stuff listed or it's just word of mouth in the community?

I don’t think it was said for sure by SDS but it’s pretty clear that vision has to due with strikeouts because Judge and Gallo strikeout more than the average player, and their vision is horrible
