Humble Beginnings For Start of New Season

I strictly play RS. Peaked at 836, but usually finish in 700's. Last season was worst ever for me ending season at 651.
Played 1st game of new season and it started me off at 450. 450?! lol.
I requested friendly quit on first couple matchups as I saw my opponent was made up of silvers and golds and they both accepted. Even requested fq against all Live Diamond series team. He denied, and ended up quitting after 2nd inning. He had 394 ranking.
Not a real fan of the new ranking system to begin new season, although I know those of you who finished in 800's like the fact that you get to start at 700. lol

Hold up.... you start at 700 if you ended at 800+? I was at 802 going into today and trying for a last second WS run I played a game, lost and called it quits so I finished at like 780, like if I didn’t play I’d start at 700 instead of 450. RIP me lol

If you ended at 780, I believe you start at 550, not 450.
And yes, if you would've ended at 802, you would've started at 700, not 550....I think. I still get kind of confused because they changed it compared to last year's MLB.

If you ended at 780, I believe you start at 550, not 450.

There is no starting in between I'm pretty sure...

The first couple days of ranked seasons are a no go for me. The sharks are out and I am but some raw meat thrown into the ocean.
