Getting traded....EVERYTIME
-
I go through the drills and showcase and make it to draft day. I intentionally get drafted by the Atlanta Braves (I like that they give you the choice). Then, proceed to make my way through AA and AAA. I play every game, never simulate, and post GOOD, ABOVE average numbers (0.468 batting average, 37 HR's, etc...). Finally, at the end of the season, I get a one year contract to play on the ATL MLB team. Then, the very next day they trade me. So, I start all over, get drafted; AA; AAA; MLB contract; traded. Try it one more time...same result. It sucks BIG TIME to put in all that work only to produce no fruit. I just want to play for the Braves (the team that I put in all this work for). Is there a setting I'm missing? Or is this just a flaw in the game?

I had this issue before as well but figured out a way around it by saving the season prior to the offseason and if I do get traded I can just delete that version and go back to the saved on. You may have to do it a couple times but that worked for me. Also turning down your trade slider at the bottom of the Sliders tab should help too.

And exactly how do you do either of those two things - move the trade slider and save a season? Sorry, I'm new.

When playing RTTS, click options, and then click sliders. Once you click sliders, click adjust sliders and in that screen, the trade frequency bar is at the very bottom of the page. Move that bar all the way to the left. And for saving the season in case something bad happens, just save your rtts game data in a different slot than the one your auto saved one is.

Just make a back up save, and keep up to date with it.
If you get traded just load the other file. -
