Best 2B hitting wise outside of a CAP. He won’t leave my lineup, he gets consistently good exit velos when you square up. Highly recommend him.
I thought he was the most valuable of the LS collection rewards last year and he’s a beast again this year
Best second basemen might be a stretch. That is a position that really helps to have a diamond defender. IMHO he is second behind prestige Sandberg. Both have similar offensive attributes but what separates them is that diamond defense. But that’s just my opinion.

He makes balls leave quickly.
Very very good. Could be end game 2bd base unless prestige Sandberg shocks the [censored] out of me in the Prestige XP level.

How does he do at 3rd? Cano is not leaving my lineup
I use Cano at 2nd and Hornsby at 3rd. His defense is below average for sure. He is not getting to any hard hit balls down the line. He makes routine plays and his bat is good.

I've been thinking about selling him tbh. His hitting attributes are amazing and he has decent speed, too. Unfortunately, his swing has just been OK for me. I personally rake more with 99 Jackie at second, and Brett/Schmidt at third. Babe occupies first so there's no room for him on my squad besides the bench. I tend to try batters out for 100 at bats, and then I look at slugging, etc to determine if they stay on my team. For me, he has been just ok slugging around .500. (Nolan Gorman, Brett, Schmidt, and Jackie all slug .750+ for me).
So my recommendation is to try him out for 100 AB and see if you like him. There are so many good players out there that it's really about finding the player's swing that hits the best for you.
