The hunt for the real MLB The Show 20?

After another frustrating and confusing loss (for both teams IMO) I was wondering how any actual MLB player could play this game and not almost feel insulted by its portrayal of them and all the past legends of the game? Perhaps that MLB Players contest was so long ago that the game was still pretty good or at least close enough to prevent them from seeing the countless errors the game contains today.
It almost feels like maybe those special individualized MLB cards were somehow used to get the MLB players an alternative version of the game instead of exposing them to the version all of us fans are playing? Just a theory and obviously not based on any direct evidence but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts or idea if MLB has any input on the game since I remember they were actively prompting before they started the season...not sure I’d be prompting the current patched version of the game since it’s a less than stellar endorsement of the current state of MLB

I look at it this way, it’s going cross platform. These people will enjoy it because they don’t have a decent baseball game. But once they see how horrendous it actually is I’m hoping it crushes SDS’s soul. They have killed a game that had issues but was pretty dam good on early rekease

Tell me about it I’m winning earlier today beaned babe Ruth cuz my son hit my stick while holding him, 2 outs 0-2 count jim thome full swings should be strike 3 inning over , nope calls it a check swing next pitch high outside cutter which was a ball pulls for a homer to take the lead

Not only that all the homers hit is bs too they playing juice ball with this game steroid everyone up so pitching doesn’t matter anymore just like the early 2000s
