What is your dogs name?

Yadi.... you can probably guess why.
(For the security question concerns above, I actually use a different pets name that I have, so I'm good)

That being said, you should never answer those types of security questions truthfully. They are typically really easy for scammers to find out.
That's why, if given the opportunity, I always use the "Favorite book/movie/song" questions that don't offer an opportunity to trackdown PII.
Yeah, don't answer most questions!

Rocky, named after the Rockies. Also why my DD team is named the Rockies. Named for the dog, which is named for the team.
Love all of that.

Hey, let's get a mother's maiden name thread going too...
I agree that it is rarely a good idea to answer these types of questions on a public forum, even if the original intention was not nefarious.
That being said, you should never answer those types of security questions truthfully. They are typically really easy for scammers to find out. Come up with some kind of cipher that will make made up code words easier for you to remember, or just make up answers based on things you like.
Example:
Dog’s name? Krypto (Superman’s dog)
Mother’s name? Martha (Why did you say that name?!?!)
First car? T.A.R.D.I.S
And no, I’ve never actually used any of these.
So.... where do you live?

I have never thought of that. Thanks.
