Starting pitcher energy

Just started 99 Nolan Ryan at full energy. He pitched 10 pitches. Guy quits. I go to start another game only to find out Nolan Ryan is almost out of energy.... Musta been a long plane ride home I guess. Wtf SDS, not my fault he quit. Why does he lose that much energy?

It's an unfortunate side effect of forcing people to have to use 5 man rotations + stopping so many starters from coming out of the pen. Basically starters lose 50% stamina if they even throw one pitch in that game
