95 Glavine and 99 Matthews

Being a huge Braves fan, I would like to collect all the Braves cards, the 2 currently missing (minus prestige cards) is 95 Glavine and 99 Matthews. Anyone have experience with these cards enough to justify them over the 88 Glavine for 92 Matthews from the Evo player program?

The 95 Glavine is actually kinda nasty, 3.35 era in 80ish innings. I only have him for my Braves squad because I don't need the stubs but he'll be cheaper as he comes back into br cycles later in the year.
I own the 99 Matthews but I haven't used it enough to voice an opinion one way or the other. Should play very similar to the Nolans from TA 2 based on stats.

Interesting...haven't faced him ever in RS. Pretty cool SP to have if you're trying to be unique. Glad it's working for you.

I don't use him much in RS anymore but my team ERA is 2.74 for the year. Technically Glavine is worse than average for me.

Glavine is solid, similar to Greg madux, but with more break (it seems). I think I’m about 15-7 with him, and I expect to give up about 3 runs over 6-7 innings a start.
The Eddie Matthews cars was a letdown. His reaction kills his fielding and his hitting felt no different than his lower diamond.

very helpful. thanks man. i think i may try and get glav but im gonna leave matthews alone and stick with the 92 matthews.
