Does anyone ever get excited when u get a new card u really wanted, and then go play a ranked game and forget how bad the gameplay is online.

I always end up pressing with amazing cards when I first get them. It takes me like 50 abs to not swing at everything in the zone

Yeah. I feel like you start swinging at everything when you debut a sick card online. The only guy I hit right away with online was POTM Bellinger. I was awful with guys like Walker, Cano and Ellsbury right away.

I'll usually try around 50-60 at bat with a new player. . Before I say. "Enough of this card ". But maybe more patience is needed".

It sounds like a lot but legit 200 abs will tell you exactly what you need to know about a swing. A lot of guys maybe prefer to hit the away pitch or the inside pitch depending on their swings and its just about finding what works for you.

Rogers Hornsby for me so far.. i dont think i've gotten a hit w him in RS yet.. but i'll stick with him for now - good hitting offline tho'

The game is really simple, and it has nothing to do with diamonds/ratings/attributes/etc.
Make good timing on a good pitch to hit, you're good to go. Swing at bad pitches with bad timing, hit the showers.
My second account is 17-1, with silver and bronze players. SDS has fooled you into thinking attributes matter, they don't. Take bad pitches (even strikes) you won't have a lot of luck, swing at good pitches, you're good to go.
