    Bought him on Feb. 6th.....

It took 16 Event games to have his spot selected. He got rocked. Hard.

It takes another 36 event games to draw him again. He gets rocked again . Hella hard.

    Sold!

I really wish there was a better solution to pitcher selection. I had a guy in my rotation get selected the other day, and it had been so long I forgot I even had him in.

Yeah, he's been super disappointing: basically, a starter version of Hader.

He misses the zone a lot, hits a lot of guys, and gets banged around too frequently.

Sale has been a crutch pitcher in many rotations for quite some years now. The sidearm delivery is not new to most players anymore, they picked up on it because you face him so often. Especially since there have been reliever Chris Sale cards.

If you can locate the slider with him consistantly though, he's still tough to hit in my opinion. But it comes with a ton of risk because everybody knows a missed release results in a meatball right down the middle these days for an easy center swing homerun.

I've had quite a bit of success with him. I've found alot of people just try to time his FB. so I throw alot of junk and even the 2 seam has enough speed differential for people to roll over. every once in a while I'll throw high gas to keep them honest. other than kershaw hes been my most consistent pitcher. especially on legend he is nasty

In my experience, good hitters usually hit him well like any other pitcher, but poor hitters usually struggle. I also think it’s about how much your opponent has faced that card. The first time I faced him I was feeling good at the plate and couldn’t hit him well. Each time I’ve gotten better and now I’m confident against him. I still think he’s above average as a SP because there are hitters that will struggle against him
