MLB 19—Willie Mays 600th HR Help

This moment has me at wits end. I can not, whatsoever, hit this flipping home run. And there's no real tutorials on how to accomplish this, either. One home run. ONE! With Willie Mays!!
I have tried everything. Different PCIs. Camera angles. I've tried power swinging and regular swinging and the closest I've ever gotten is a flyout at the wall. This is the last mission I have left for Mays and I really want to finish this out. I'm constantly "very late" on my swings and whenever I swing sooner to catch up, I miss the ball.
Is there anything that can be done to make this even slightly easier? This is driving me nuts.

Are those in the storyline moment? Don’t even bother. They were impossible

It was easier getting the collection reward SS Mays last year than it was completing those Mays moments.

There are only a handful of cards I don’t have in 19.
99 Gossage, about half of the storyline moments guys like Mays and Ruth because those moments suck, and one of the Pirates flashbacks since it is impossible to have all of them.
I know it’s your last mission, but you may want to just walk away for your own sanity. The balancing on moments early on was real screwed up. I think most people that got them done did so through some slider glitch which was patched out.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing, lol. I was hoping to complete it for a free Hardware card for my collection, but I guess I'll settle with the handful of stubs I got instead. Wish they had just juiced the card for that HR mission, would've saved me some frustration
