Do you like CAPs?

I feel that if you are making a dynasty, you shouldn't be able to use a fake player. I also like it being as realistic as possible. I know that some people like it, but personally, I will never use one.

I hate CAPS, but notice all elite players use one. Maybe I'll try it next year, but I like using actual players.

What I hate is Darren O'Day motion lefty pitcher throwing 99 or all the 5th-grade humor names.

I think the CAP stat grind was a bigger draw than actually using my CAP. Once I completed the full catcher CAP path then I pretty much stopped using him altogether.
I might have to bring him back
at some point though. Gary Carter was hands down my favorite catcher last year but unfortunately he’s nutso expensive. Torre is pretty good but my CAP was much better tbh. -
Carlos Zambrano lives on due to the CAP.

I used to be against it for no reason.
Now it's one of the best features of online DD. You can literally make yourself a baseball card & play H2H games on any difficulty with Legends, Current players & prospects. Or create any player that's not currently in game. Any position, any build. Could create Mickey Mantle if you dont have LS Collections done lol. Not to mention stubs saved at whatever position. Whoever doesn't have one make one asap Speed/Fielding/Balance build any position is the best true Diamond defense Diamond hitting. With the best equipment he is my best player hands down including Mantle you guys are crazy not to use one.

Why would I let that type of player go to waste on my DD squad? Lol -
The cap is nice to add a top player to a position that’s thin. There are very few players that can match a maxed out cap as a five tool player, plus it’s nice to have an added personal connection to your team besides just uniforms. Also don’t think caps are going anywhere cause that is primarily what drives the equipment market. You take caps away that’s multiple 10,000 plus transactions daily that sds will lose, meaning less money spent on buying stubs

I think a lot of people get immature with them, i am not a huge fan, but use one, because there is usually a position i dont like the options. Almost always catcher.

It’s fun for a little while using myself as a CAP, but I bore of it quickly. I almost never use one, and when I did use the one with my name, it was all offline. If I feel like doing it, I can go back to my RTTS player. I play RTTS maybe once a month.
That said, I do kind of like using CAP to make players they don’t have in the game. I had my CAP as Larry Walker for a little while last year.
