Do you like CAPs?

The cap is nice to add a top player to a position that’s thin. There are very few players that can match a maxed out cap as a five tool player, plus it’s nice to have an added personal connection to your team besides just uniforms. Also don’t think caps are going anywhere cause that is primarily what drives the equipment market. You take caps away that’s multiple 10,000 plus transactions daily that sds will lose, meaning less money spent on buying stubs
I don’t use one but mans got a point here

I think a lot of people get immature with them, i am not a huge fan, but use one, because there is usually a position i dont like the options. Almost always catcher.
For a while it was LH RP

It’s fun for a little while using myself as a CAP, but I bore of it quickly. I almost never use one, and when I did use the one with my name, it was all offline. If I feel like doing it, I can go back to my RTTS player. I play RTTS maybe once a month.
That said, I do kind of like using CAP to make players they don’t have in the game. I had my CAP as Larry Walker for a little while last year.

Love my CAP. Always have... He's the best Catcher in the game. Don't hate on my CAP. Run on him... I dare you!
-
Derek Jeter cap
-
Never made one. I have no issue with anyone else using one though.
-
I used one in the bullpen early game before we had enough arms but not anymore. It's pretty cheesy I think I csn win without it.
-
My cap is Mickey scales, I’m the only guy in the world that thinks he can hit.
You used to be able to create 9 caps on your team I believe it was... so there’s that.
Sometimes I wonder what’s less realistic, having Mickey scales as a 2B or having an outfield of Mike Trout, Mickey Mantle and Larry Walker ️

I feel that if you are making a dynasty, you shouldn't be able to use a fake player. I also like it being as realistic as possible. I know that some people like it, but personally, I will never use one.
The only thing I like about CAPs is being able to create a player the game won’t give you. For example I made Barry Bonds. As far as realistic as possible then you should only be using Live series players since everything else is fake.

I have chase Utley as my cap
-
My two year old son as his future self is my CAP and he’s a Baller lol
-
I like snapbacks and fitted caps. I also like Fedoras but I'm not cool enough to pull off one of those
-
How is it realistic to have Trout and Mantle in the same outfield? DD is not a realistic game mode.
“If you want a CAP go play RTTS”
If you want realistic go play franchise.
-
My left handed Adam Cimber throwing CAP named Joe Exotic is disgusting.
-
I don’t hate them as much as I used to since you can’t have a 99 speed catcher anymore, but still don’t like them. I’m fine with people basing them off of a real life player(Victor Martinez for example), but I would rather have it where you actually have to create a batting stance from scratch instead of just putting Mondesi’s swing on a catcher with 100/100/100/100 and diamond fielding and 70 speed.
-
Personally I dont use it anymore but I don't have a problem with it. I think of it as my own personal Future Stars card. I have the same number of MLB at bats as some of them! (This isnt a bash on FS cards, I love them)
-
Jon Snow saved us all, now he's enjoying his retirement playing catcher on my DD squad. Good fella, kinda short.

That's exactly what DD was made for. What if you could play with any of the best players of all time on the same team?

Billy Heywood thinks he can hit.
