I'd say that there are six players with a very good chance...
- Lance Lynn
- Carlos Correa
- Trevor Bauer
- Fernando Tatis Jr.
- Joey Gallo
- Whit Merrifield
Then there are a few darkhorse candidates that still have a pretty good chance in their own right:
- Nicholas Castellanos
- Giancarlo Stanton
- Xander Bogaerts
- Jeff McNeil
- Chris Paddack
I even think there could be another "surprise" upgrade like Nick Anderson or something. But there's also a good chance because there is no absolute clear-cut choice, they may just tease us all and give most of those guys just a +1 or something.
In my opinion, I believe Lance Lynn, Whit Merrifield and Fernando Tatis Jr. deserve to go diamond the most but I think Carlos Correa will see a big enough increase to get there and I think Joey Gallo could go diamond because their cut-off is Wednesday, isn't it? He was hitting above .300 before Wednesday's games.
Regardless, I'm just glad baseball is back and we have roster updates to speculate on. It was so boring before.

No way McNeil goes diamond. If anything his fielding might go down. Dude has like 4 errors already
