So how many times have you played the affinity showdowns?

I had a bunch of teams at stage 2 that I was looking to advance to stage 3. I started to calculate how many times I’d need to play showdown (already had the moments and missions done) and it was a lot of grinding. I’ve gotten to the point where I can beat those (stage 2 anyway) pretty much every time. But I still couldn’t bring myself to play showdown over and over. I just exchanged my way through. Maybe I’ll do the Stage 3 some more. (I won the only time I’ve tried Stage 3, the Central one).

Anyway, know a lot of you guys have talked about grinding showdown. How many times have you done it? How do you fight the repetitive aspect?

I played a bit of stage 1, bout half showdowns half exchanges, got through TA2 almost exclusively through showdown, and just exchanged my way through stage 3.

Repetitiveness wasn't to big an issue for me, stage 2 showdowns were relaxing and I always liked opening the pack you get after the second miniboss. But once stage 3 came out, I was pretty much over hardcore grinding it and had the stubs anyway, so just exchanged

Yep. Exactly how I did them as well. I fully plan on exchanging my way through stage 4 as well unless you get a better pack at the second mini boss in those showdowns

Lots. I did probably half and half stage 2 with Showdowns and exchanges. If you are looking to boost XP and TA stages, Showdown is the best solution.

I am still grinding the stage 2 showdowns I only have texas left in stage 1, I have them in the playoffs of a MTO i never finished just left it. All other teams are in stage 2 most half way done in stage 2 between showdowns and exchanges a little of Innings from RS or Events and the new CQ map that came out. I Have two teams at 100, all the AL East in Stage 3, ATL, CHC, and WAS in stage 3.
