While it is a bit frustrating to have to hit HR and Steal Bases with a player in the 60s for each area...I was able to complete those items with a little effort.
The most frustrating thing that I encountered with the moments is having Joey Votto on first base over and over when you need an extra base hit. In numerous at bats, I was able to either hit one of the wall or to the wall in a gap...and Votto did not advance to 3rd. There is just about no reason for this to happen. Much less roughly 5 times.

I could not agree with this anymore. This has been something I have noticed in multiple moments from the past. If they are gonna do that they need to allow us to advance runners on our own.

I wish I would've kept track of all the extra time these base runners have cost me throughout all the moments this year. Has to be hours. Give us full control already.

Agreed 100%. Moments could be fun, but they let the game run wild to our detriment. In addition to having slow-as-molasses guys on base, I've been plunked multiple times in a game, I've been intentionally walked, I have had a runner on 1st picked off with 2 outs in the 9th so I couldn't even get in another AB. Perhaps the most frustrating thing ever to happen was in the Robinson moment that required 2 XBH and a SB. That took me FOREVER, and on one attempt, I had my two XBH and I was getting ready to steal 2nd base in the 8th or 9th. i cant't remember if my team was either winning by a ton or losing by a ton. Either way, I stole 2nd but didn't get credit because the 1B didn't hold me on and the C didn't attempt a throw, so it went down as defensive indifference rather than a steal.
I want to be a fan of moments, but they don't put the necessary constraints on the game to make them less frustrating.

Somehow, I’ve even had a couple two HR games when I wasn’t even trying for it the last at-bat. Lost chances to steal becuase of Votto. Lost chances to steal because the batter would keep swinging. I was even thrown out twice trying to steal and that never happens for me in the SB moments. I spent probably more than an hour on it last night before I just gave up.
Yeah, he had moderate speed and power to be 30-30. So why not reflect that on the card instead of 60s for each.

All these posts are keeping me away.. I tried the first moment last night twice and was like nope.. not worth it... like you I never have issues completing them.... but I can tell these will take too long and I am not going to get trout and wont use him... so really there is no point in spending the time besides a few extra inning points... i'd consider if I were 15 pts away from a good pack.. but not when I am 20 away from that nameplate...

Honestly, all I would like to see is that the play continues to the end on a disconnect. So if I hit a HR, let the ball land and everyone score.
