Making the World Series push.

So I've finished prestiging anyone worth prestiging and I'm ready to finally try and make the push to World Series to finally accomplish everything I want to this year.

How long should I wait before I begin the push? I know goons are rushing to cash in on Sale early so when should I start?

I feel comfortable with hitting on HoF but are there any specific tips you'd recommend to help edge out those close games?

Would you change this layout of the lineup?

Weiters

All prestiged. Bench is Chipper, Ortiz, Jackson, Sheffield, and Al Kaline, again all prestiged.

Do i need a middle infield/pinch runner? If so i could sub ortiz for Jackie?

That’s a sick lineup! I would say wait a week, week in a half. Then we should be done dealing with the sweaty’s... I hope...lol

Replace Kaline with a speed guy. Anyone with some type of hitting stats and 95+ speed. For me it’s Wagner. Love the swing just in case I need him and he has 98 speed

Lineup looks weaker vs lefties. Why is Weiters hitting 6th and not 8th? And why would you need a backup middle infielder? I would never take Rollins or Biggio out. If you want a pinch runner, make sure you can cover the slow players’ defensive positions, not the fast ones.

Couple of things to answer here.

Weiters is slow, so I don't like hitting him right in front of the pitcher incase I get into a situation where I need to bunt.

He also is much better vs lefties, so he follows a lefty in the line up in order to make late game pitching changes harder against me.

As far as middle infield, I'd likely only ever need to pinch run for Weiters, which Biggio could slide behind the plate then someone to 2nd.

Also vs lefties Chipper and Kaline could sub in and make it pretty nasty the other way.
