Can someone please clarify something for me?

If I have a 4K tv that is capable of 10ms on 4K or on 1080p, which option plays best for this game, input lag wise? Should I set my tv to 1080p hdr off and faster settings? Or should I use 4K? If I do choose to use 4K, what setting should I use for it? It still confuses me which option is better. I was told 1080 faster I’d best.
