You can't win

I had a challenge of get on base after first pitch. The reward was +dis. So I understand the challenge to mean to take first pitch. I do that and it is a strike on the inside half and I get a -vis. So if i had swung and hit the first pitch it would be a failed challenge and when I don't swing I get -vis. So like I said you can't win. What an absolutely stupid thing to have in the game.

Meh, sometimes the challenges are pretty wonky. I had a challenge to get a hit using power swing and I fouled off the ball and it failed my challenge, than got a hit the next pitch with power swing and not reward. Weird to me.

The -vis would have been a small amount lost, however the +dis would have been a bigger gain if achieved.

I agree with you though, it could have been better implemented.
