Or if mike trout got trampled by a hippo while trying to save Cody bellinger from falling 200 feet off of a cliff directly onto a soundly sleeping yoan moncada who is traveling across the world to deliver an antidote to a severely poisoned Fernando Tatis jr who is about to unknowingly transmit rhino flu to Christian Yelich immediately after rescuing Ronald Acuna and Ketel Marte from a warlord.
That would also be bad for baseball.

What did you expect after that first pitch buy the doctor? Don't you think if you are going to be on national TV throwing a baseball that maybe you should decline if you have never thrown a ball in your entire life? Or maybe start throwing a ball the week before? The way he threw that ball was the same way I would go into an open heart surgery tomorrow as the main surgeon.

I’d say Soto missing the game due to the virus is worse...
Considering what the forecast looked like this morning, the fact they got in an official game to this point, actually seems like a positive outcome.
