No thanks. Having said that we need pitcher/catcher chemistry that affects hk/9's. For instance Posey catcher Bungarner would give Bumgarner a +7 boost to his /9s. Posey catching someone like say Jack Flaherty he would get a -7 decline to his /9s. Imo this would really add depth to the relationship these two positions have with one another beyond just calling the game.

I've been very anti-Madden on here...but I'm all for the team chemistry boosts.

Exactly the point. Forced people's hand, do you want better offensive stats or better pitching? Or try and find both?

I mean while it does work like that in real life that pitchers pitch better to certain catchers (Lester to David Ross during the WS run or Cole to Maldanado over Chirinos last year for example), I don’t think any good pitcher would be worse with a Posey, Molina, Bench type catcher behind the plate maybe have the boost for good chemistry without the decline for bad chemistry?

I just used that as an example tbh. Balancing is another Story.

I think it could be done well but knowing SDS this would not be executed properly.
I’d like to see it more for fielding/reaction. Then you could possibly get some guys up a tier on their defensive shield if they’re playing in the right lineup.

Regardless of people who think about madden and get angry in their spare time, team building bonuses would be awesome. Id still like to see them add a dynamic to the catcher to get people away from CAPs
