Come on guys, it's obviously not gonna be Chase Utley.
But I want to have a catch with Chase Utley.

No your right because it's obviously Chase Headley.
-
I feel like Hank Aaron is a good guess bc of all the braves they've been releasing is like a theme or somethin

Since you know who it is why not tell us
-
I do not think it will someone who already has a card in the game. Could be Honus again but I do not think so.
-
The chase for... 56? If it's Joe D, I'm gonna have to take out a loan [sigh].

That's what you got from my statement? I don't know who it is, I just know that the biggest collection of the year (biggest money potential for SDS) won't be locked behind someone unappealing like Chase Utley.

I agree with @the_dragon1912 , Babe makes the most sense. It’s gotta be someone other than Honus otherwise they wouldn’t build up suspense just for it to be the same.
EDIT: DiMaggio might also make sense. They had Mantle to market to Yankees fans, so they wouldn’t have to use him to promote the game.
A horrid thought occurred: 99 Pat Neshek because he is a known collector of baseball cards lmao.
-
There is only 3 that would be worth it ,
Aaron, Randy Johnson( Chase clue?),or Koufax, but Koufax as a mid reward, not the end.
Oh 4, Babe would be worth it too. -

Captain Jeter would be a really present surprise.
No pop, not fast, average fielder with limited range at SS.... Am I missing something?
He's pretty much Michael Young but wore pinstripes.

No thanks to common defense, I'll stick with Larkin

Given how random the stats are sometimes, Jeter would probably have diamond defense.

Relax, Sarcasm, I know it not going to be Utley, It will be someone that has not been in the game, like it was last year.

I would take Sig Jimmy Foxx
-
I have over 350k in stubs right now. Debating if I should go buy those precious inning golds (Ripken, Jones, Damon, etc)
I've also sold every Prospect card I ever got. Hoping they are not part of this...
Think ill just sit tight and at least have a decent wad of Stubs and apply where needed.

I'd be happy with that. Give him a catcher secondary, though.

Was there an announcement or leak that you mentioned the 28th?
Bottom upcoming schedule: https://news.theshownation.com/articles/july-monthly-awards-program-reward-2017-james-paxton/
Thank you for that. When I see "the chase", I can only think of Sosa/McGwire...
My first thought was Chase field, so Randy Johnson
-
Shoeless Joe Jackson!

I didn't play MLB 19... what is this Honus thing? Collect certain cards for the ultimate card in the game?
Yes, that's pretty much what it is. Last year if you collected the cards necessary you would unlock the Honus Wagner card. He played SS and was pretty much the best card in the game. You had to collect a LOT of cards though and it was a grind and it cost a ton of stubs. I did it and don't remember exactly what it cost in stubs but it may have been in the 1-1.5 million or something like that. Looks like they're going to be doing the same thing again this year just don't know what the reward will end up being yet.
