I respect the OPs view....However, as for me, the moment I stop caring about my online record is the moment I will stop playing RS h2h.
For me, it is only fun to do that mode due to the idea that it is somehow important, at least in a competitive sense (like pickup basketball or something). That gives me the motivation to grind for better cards along with trying to get better. It plays on my competiveness, which makes RS worth my time.

I have been in the exact same mindset as you, and now I think I need to chill because I am getting upset over a video game. That's where I am at.

I didn't notice either. Just shows how quickly we read things, and how easily our brains adjust so that things make sense.

The training wheels pitch setting works in the 400s against .150 hitters but your not hitting those numbers against a good player lol, not even a decent one.

Weird flex, pitching is about location and selection. The thread is about hanging pitches down the middle, which is what we are discussing. Also, I'm not playing in the 400's if that was directed towards me.

Training wheels pitch settings would be "classic pitching", and I don't believe anyone here is using that setting.

Pulse and meter is literally the same thing, with a different visual for timing. Some people prefer the madden kicking style approach, others prefer pulse, they both give the same result.

It is a weird flex. It’s a very very weird flex to tell everybody in a thread they can’t pitch than announce you use pulse and pretend you hit every spot every time when everybody knows you mean the gigantic circle or randomness. Pulse and Meter are not the same, you can’t over throw with pulse and gain velocity, if you use pulse you pitch 1-2 mph slower than every other setting, it’s very much NOT the same.

The circle gets bigger and bigger on HOF and legend and is almost impossible, it’s a training wheels setting.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. I play on HOF on a regular basis, and you can absolutely control velocity. Keep talking LOL

If by regular basis you mean when the Devs put events on HOF and you go boost these pitching stats against low level players that don’t play on HOF then yeah, you play it on a regular basis.

How many of these HOF games on the regular basis are in RS? How many times did pulse carry you above 900? How many WS players were apart of those stat lines and got no hit by Smoltz and Orel?

I know exactly what I’m talking about.

I'm sorry you don't pitch as well as me, keep practicing, you'll get there! Lots of helpful tips on youtube.

You have never had a pitch go somewhere other than you intended? I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that everyone has had this happen once or twice with good/perfect input (in the entirety of their play, let alone once a session/evening).
But maybe I am in the wrong and don't fully understand pitching with the meter? I do plan on switching to analog.

He has...and is lying. It happens to everyone, not because you suck...or as this guy wants to pretend (he's the greatest). It's because that's what the AI determines. Dudes, all of you know, it's not about your talent..it's about what the AI decides. This ain't a competitive simulation. It's a game. Albeit a nicely animated one, but not a nicely simulated one most of the time.

I literally posted screen shots of my pitchers stats for all to see. I guess those were photoshopped too. The magic of the internet lol

What does your pitching stats have to do with anything? It's about you lying and saying the animation of your pitches is always what you intended. That's BS and you know it. Don't say silly things and ppl won't call you out on it.

I've got an era of 2.51 in over 400 games. Doesn't really mean a thing.

The point is, CY/Sandy/Max, the game dictates outcomes. Your controller and whatever freakin' magic you think you have ..don't have a lot to do with it. It's software, you're not out on a baseball diamond hitting/pitching using real-life physics. It's code that "sometimes" tries to replicate, but is generally more concerned with keeping parity in the game so ALL customers keep coming back for more. Get over yourself..you're no better than the next guy.
