Dream rotations?
-
My dream rotation deGrom, Cole, Seaver, Verlander, and Gibson. Verlander and Gibson I am both getting today.
What is your dream rotation? -
Got all five of those, and I don't like any of them.
My current rotation:
Kershaw
Wood
?
?
?
I've got every pitcher, and those three spots are still question marks. Currently Sale and Grove have the third and fourth spots, with either Young or Feller with the fifth. I'm re-auditioning Bumgarner, Greinke, and Morton, to see if one of those three can step up.
SP pitching just sucks this year. -
I've used every pitcher and I've settled on.
- Finest Cole
- Sale
- Seaver
- Guidry
- Wood.
-
Feller (hasn't lost yet for me)
Finest Cole
Gibson
Seaver or Grove
Sale -

Yeah Guidry is sneaky good. He hits 100 mph consistently. I am using him rn but I think I will switch him for Gibson. As I always admired Gibson
Unfortunately I’m not good enough nor rich enough to get Sale. -
Pitching is definitely not a strong point of 19. Heavyweights like Gibson and Feller and Verlander and Seaver are either batting practice or extremely hard to control. I've had the best success with:
Kershaw, Left-handed Grove, Jack Morris, Jim Palmer, and Wood (those last three 95s are better than just about any 99 in the game).
If you're asking for our "dream" rotation including players who aren't in the game, I'd have to say (good versions of):
Maddux, Satchel Paige, Walter Johnson, Cy Young, Christy Mathewson ... and also Mark Buehrle
-
I would also just like to say I’ve been testing out the David Price, John Lester and Klubers of the game. And I feel greinke and Price stand up with a lot of 99s. For a lot cheaper
-
If I could have any pitchers
Sandy Koufax
Christy Mathewson
Randy Johnson
Greg Maddux
Pedro MartinezAnd I know this is 6 but

It was a real kick in the nuts to make Minoso and Sale both BR rewards this year. As Sox fans we deserve SS Buehrle, McDowell, and Ventura cards next year for our trouble.

Agreed! I got Minoso mid-season and foolishly sold him during a stub sale. He shot up to like 175K and I thought I would sell him, wait for the sale to end, and then buy him back at half the price. Stupid stupid stupid
I really hope SDS snags the rights to Buerhle some day. I know he’s not the kind of guy who will get serious HoF consideration, but i think he deserves it. One of our scant few white sox legends, imo.
-
@SchnauzerFace agreed on Buerhle. He was huge for the White Sox winning the world series in 2005.
On a side note i would love to see Joe Jackson and Carlton Fisk some day as well for the White Sox.
