I’ve been seeing. Bunch of posts in the forums and even on YouTube and people seem to rank Dawson higher than Eric Davis which I don’t get. Davis has better speed and power and a little less contact while the defense remains the same so maybe people prefer Dawson’s swing over My Davis.
leiter is the third best pitcher in TA3 behind orel and wood, being a left really helps and has better pitches than smoltz
My last hot take is Schmidt over killebrew, yes killebrew has insane power but Schmidt defense is too good to pass up over at the hot cornerThose are just my opinions I wanna hear ur takes and reasoning behind them

I agree with most of what you said. Schmidt over Killebrew is interesting though. I guess it depends on the rest of your lineup construction. Me personally, I’m using Killebrew and have found his bat to be amazing. I used the collection reward Schmidt card and wasn’t too pleased with his swing. So I’m just sticking Killebrew at first knowing that few balls will probably get by every game. If you can hit with Schmidt though I’d agree that’s probably the best card out of the bunch

Personally I like smoltz plus with all the right handed free batters this year I prefer righty arms this year. Schmidt is definitely better than Killebrew though I am still confused that he doesn't get SS secondary and becomes common there. I would prefer using Eric Davis because the way he holds the bat is in the way of meter pitching

I think most people also still carry the sentiment of MLBTS 17 Andre Dawson. That card was insane. As a matter of fact, @ComebackLogic and I played some games of 17 a few weeks back and along with us both having a blast playing that game, I also remember that almost every ball Dawson touched went over the fence or into the gap.

I agree with Davis over Dawson but personally for me I can't put Schmidt higher than Killebrew. Thats more of a personal thing fot me tho because I can't stand Schmidt's swing

Yeah, but we had no good/okay with negative exit velos then. The top spin on one handed swings was the only real barrier to success if you squared it up in ‘17. I’m not a huge Dawson fan in general, I used his 99 last year for a while, but I’d agree Eric Davis is a superior card this year regardless of personal preference.

I actually didn't like Hershiser and sold him towards the LS collection.
I did not prefer a lack of fastball. I like to throw high and away or inside from time to time to throw batters off. None of his pitches work high in the zone I felt. And I refuse to throw sinkers high. It's cheap and bush league.
